Road Dog Media Group at CRS with Irlene Mandrell
This year's Country Radio Seminar was memorable and special for so many reasons and Irlene Mandrell was one of the biggest reasons.
I have been a "fan" or rather an "admirer" of Irlene, as well as her sisters, for as long as I can remember. As anyone knows who watched the Mandrell Sister's Variety show, Irlene was cast as the "silly" sister. I think somehow what happened for me with her being cast as that "character" is that it allowed me to realize that it is ok to laugh at yourself sometimes.
No one is laughing at her now, or casting her as the silly sister these days! With new music, weekly video blog updates, her memoir available and appearances and shows, she is right where she should be, back in the spotlight for the world to benefit from this shining star!
I can not properly put the words together for what having this opportunity meant for me so please check out the video below.
Irlene, my sweet friend, thank you for everything and mostly for just being such a bright light in this world! I love ya and look forward to catching up again soon!
